1. How Can I Make Avatars? - Tips To Get Started

Many people ask this question so we have come up with a few tips for you =]

  1. You need a graphics application like Paint Shop Pro / Fireworks / Photoshop but you can make avs in the simplest free graphics applications available (search google for graphics+applications+free and see what you find)
  2. IMPORTANT - get to know whatever application / program you have! Do the tutorials, have fun, create your own images - the better you know how to use it the easier it is to make avs.
  3. Now start saving avatars from sites like tantricks.com and opening them in the graphics program you have - zoom in, see how they're made and try it out for yourself!
  4. Dont forget the transparent background to your canvas as you draw the avatar!
  5. And finally - most programs allow you to 'cut out' parts of another image or avatar - using other peoples parts to 'make' new avs is a tried and tested method of making avs.

2. How do I add avatars to TrueChat?

  1. Copy the URL (in blue on every AV page) from the TanTricks.Com AV page you wish to add.
  2. Click the Avatars button on the top of the TC window.
  3. Click Add
  4. Name the list you are about to add (can be anything).
  5. Paste the URL you copied from the AV page in to the URL section
  6. All done!

3. How do I Upload Avs to OnChat

N.B. You need a booster account to upload avatars to OnChat... it costs $19 a year.

  1. First save the avatar you want to upload by right clicking on the AV in question and shoosing Save As
  2. Save it to your computer and remember where you've put it.
  3. Go to OnChat and log in to your account.
  4. Click My Avatars
  5. Click Avatar Upload
  6. Browse for the avatar you saved on your computer
  7. Click Upload.. and that's all!
